STILLMEADOW’s Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory offers Whole Effluent Toxicity testing (WET).
Biomonitoring, or Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing, is an integral part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance program. STILLMEADOW, Inc. performs acute and chronic toxicity tests of domestic and process wastewater from sites throughout the country. These tests are performed using freshwater or marine test organisms. This laboratory has conducted thousands of NPDES compliance toxicity tests annually.
Our NELAP Accredited lab provides marine and freshwater aquatic toxicity testing services for municipal, industrial and government clients. The 7,000 square foot aquatic facility contains separate culturing and testing laboratories that cover a broad range of toxicological and environmental services, from Acute and Chronic Biomonitoring, Toxicity Reduction/Identification Evaluations, Drilling Fluid Toxicity, Product Screening, Sediment Toxicity, Biodegradation, and product registration testing in accordance with EPA and OECD Good Laboratory Practices.
